EDI Integration Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES EDI Install upgrades and program fixes to EDI translation and AS2 software Design, develop, test, implement, train, and support EDI solutions Create and support translation maps for inbound and outbound documents Liaison with Supply Chain team, trading partners, and software vendors Automation of EDI support and administrative processes Monitor EDI system health including timely response to alerts Maintain detailed documentation and process flows for all EDI processes IT is responsible for Support and Troubleshooting Perform application support and troubleshooting for designated applications including analyzing and resolving support tickets Work with the appropriate internal staff and third parties to resolve tickets in specialty areas requiring their skills Document the steps involved in resolving the support tickets Other Assist with development and troubleshooting of reports Participate in team on-call rotation EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Associate degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience Certifications: Not required, but valuable 5+ years of experience providing EDI solutions including definition, mapping, ERP integration, and testing required Experience with TrustedLink for i translator desired Experience with Infor LX (formerly known as BPCS) and Electronic Commerce Manager (ECM) desired Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) desired KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Expert knowledge of EDI transactions especially creation of customer / vendor orders, acknowledgements, invoices (inbound/outbound), load tenders, and advance shipment notices required Understanding of relational databases required Demonstrated understanding of SQL required Demonstrated research, analytical and problem-solving skills required Understanding of XML and JSON desired Understanding of REST API desired Ability to work closely with individuals in a team environment Comfort working with Windows Servers and IBM i environment desired Detail Oriented Able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures Persistence in resolving issues without becoming upset or overly frustrated Highly self-motivated and directed Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment Ability to balance multiple shifting priorities and deadlines Ability to reason – work from end results backwards to determine the best course of action for problem solving Positive “Can Do” attitude Trustworthiness with strictly confidential information Ability to work with people at all levels in the organization, in addition to consultants and vendors Good organizational abilities Good communication skills – oral and written Willingness to provide support 24x7 to resolve business issues Ability to work some weekends during Fresh Pack season and at other pre-arranged times during the year SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Direct: None Indirect: None PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS To perform this job successfully, the physical demands listed are representative of those that must be met by an employee Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions While performing the duties of this job: The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time whether that be sitting or standing The employee must be able to use fingers to constantly operate a computer or other type of office equipment The employee in this position must be able to regularly walk The employees must be able to use hands to handle and feel The employee must be able to reach with both hands and arms The employee must be able to visually detect, perceive, or recognize in near and far distances The employee must be able to converse or convey with other individuals The employee may occasionally be required to crouch The employee may occasionally lift/carry items as heavy as 25 pounds JOB COMPETENCIES Ethics/ Integrity/ Trust Attitude and Commitment Diversity Customer Service Company Engagement Quality Cost Consciousness Oral/ Written Communication Business Savvy Initiative Problem Solving Planning/ Organizing Other Responsible for monitoring, record keeping and taking appropriate actions for specific Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan and pre requisite program requirements Responsible to report food safety and quality issues to management Education Required Associates or better in Computer Science or related field Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
