We are rural behavioral health specialists integrated in the physical and behavioral health well-being for our staff and consumers.

Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Support the school-based program development initiatives through assisting with the implementation of the program into new school corporations and expanding communities being served.
Monitor and track incoming referrals from new school corporations and/or community stake holders and assist with onboarding as assigned by direct supervisor.
Serve as a liaison between new school corporations and/or community stake holders and Center administration.
Provide direct service case management for referred clients and their families addressing goals and objectives as outlined in the treatment plan under the supervision of the department manager and Center psychiatrist.
Comply with the Center’s Other Behavioral Health Professional (OBHP) supervision requirements per policy.
Meet with assigned clients and/or families as frequently as outlined in the treatment plan.
Transportation of clients to appointments or other destinations (relevant to the treatment plan) as needed.
Staff school based and community-based programs and adhere to program expectations as directed by supervisor.
Periodically communicate with the referring agency, at least monthly, to provide progress updates and obtain relevant collateral information from the referral source and other external treatment team members.
Participate in treatment team meetings with others involved in the client treatment plan (internally and externally).
Attend all required trainings for the position as well as continuing education per the Center’s policy.
Assist with movement of the client through the continuum of care as indicated by the treatment plan and treatment team.
Assist clients in the development of natural support systems to foster independence as much as possible.
To perform administrative tasks such as department utilization review, including but not limited to, checking Medicaid eligibility for designated program clientele, and checking MRO service packages to ensure reimbursement for medically necessary services as defined by a consumer’s level of need.
Medicaid eligibility and MRO service packages will be checked for entire active caseload on the 1st and 15th of each month and drill down will be provided immediately to supervisor and case managers.
Revenue Cycle Management department will be notified of changes in Medicaid status for client and appropriate transfer of payer protocol will be followed.
MRO units will be monitored for individual service packages and PA will be completed for additional MRO units, as needed.
Starting and growing base wage opportunities up to $22.

org REQUIREMENTS: Education: A Bachelor’s degree required or a minimum of 3 years in direct care services.
Experience: If Bachelor’s degree is something other than psychology or related human services field, must have one (1) year of experience in mental health or social services.
Prior experience with school based programs preferred but not required.
Skills/Knowledge: Works well under supervision as well as independently.
Organizes/manages time and daily activities with little direct supervision.
Ability to think critically and analyze information/situations for most appropriate response.
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
Handles complex tasks and requests supervision when necessary.
Able to utilize databases and/or other electronic means to perform duties.
Models professionalism, teamwork and communication internally and externally.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Maintains positive working relations and rapport with the community.
Other: Must have a valid Indiana Driver’s License and maintain vehicle insurance requirements per Center policy.
Must have current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
Must have current CPI certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
Must have current CANS/ANSA certification of ability to obtain within 90 days.
