Description:
POSITION SUMMARY: The Maintenance Coordinator will provide administrative assistance from an Inventory and Parts standpoint within all Metal Source and Metal Source Recycling properties.
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Director
SUPERVISES: N/A
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process routine and corrective maintenance work orders, track to ensure timely completion, close out work orders and bring forward outstanding items or anomalies as required.
Coordinate the preventative maintenance schedule with the maintenance teams.
Data entry into the CMMS for new and existing equipment and parts.
Generate labels and update maintenance schedules or job plans.
Complete cycle counts, restock inventory and set/adjust reorder points.
Coordinate job plan updates, input changes into the system, issue and communicate changes to maintenance teams.
Conduct training and information sessions on the CMMS program for maintenance team members.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director.
Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position.
Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes.
Requirements:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience with CMMS system specifically E-Maintenance preferred.
Forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Activity: Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs
Physical Requirements: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Visual Acuity: ability to operate machinery and determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned including to make general observations of facilities.
